Nowadays Bollywood movies are pretty common around the world. Bollywood has existed for the longest time. Have you ever seen a Bollywood movie? In these next paragraphs, I will be talking about Bollywood's ancient history, who invented it and I will also discuss about their dance moves.

First of all, Bollywood has existed for the longest time. Bollywood is the sobriquet for the Hindi language film industry. Bollywood movies first started and usually are directed and filmed in Mumbai, India. Bollywood started in 1913. The first movie was called Raja Harishchandra. In the 1930’s the movie got more success and became known around India. In the mid 2000’s Bollywood made a big hit around the world and got a major success in Asia and Europe, which later helped a lot of Indian actors to star in Amercian Movies.

Second of all, who invented Bollywood? As we spoke about it on the first paragraph, Dadasaheb Phalke directed the movie Raja Harishchandra which was the official first Bollywood movie. The director decided to do something different with the idea of creating Bollywood since he was tired of always watching movies that were not in Hindi and were always translated. He after decided to direct it and see how it would go. Years and years passed, Bollywood got a great success and a good image too from all around the world.

Third of all, Bollywood is known for their dancing, which is called (Bollywood dancing). We could say that Bollywood movies include a lot of dancing. So it explains why most of Bollywood movies are musicals. There's one of the basic and the easiest Bollywood dance moves called The Thumka which is mainly danced by the girls. For the boys (yes, they dance Bollywood too) The Bhangra is their dance. It takes a lot of time and rehearsals for the actors to learn and perform Bollywood dance.

To conclude my statement on Bollywood movies, they're overall wonderful movies who are liked by many. You have to learn more about its past and present to be intrigued. Does this make you want to watch a Bollywood movie now?
